Our Team

Sola is the founder/chief medical officer of Curenetics. He is also a clinical oncology registrar in the southeast London rotation. His research interest is focused on the development of quantitative MR-derived biomarkers for response assessment in prostate cancer. He obtained a Ph.D. in cancer magnetic resonance imaging from University College London.

Sola Adeleke

Dr. Iosif Mporas (male) is a Reader (Associate Professor) in Signal Processing and Machine Learning at the University of Hertfordshire. He holds a Ph.D. (2009) and a 5-years Diploma (2004) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Patras. His expertise is in AI, machine learning, and signal processing including biomedical and health applications.

Dr. Iosif Mporas

Ferid Ben Ali is an Artificial Intelligence engineer and Ph.D. Student at the University of Hertfordshire with the collaboration of Curenetics. He holds a Master of Science in Robotics and Computer Vision in 2019 and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Computer Science from the National Institute of Applied Science and Technology in Tunisia in 2015. His expertise is in Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, and computer vision including electronics and signal processing.

Ferid Ben Ali

Maria Braoudaki is a Senior Lecturer in Molecular Genetics at the University of Hertfordshire, UK. After graduating in 2004 with a Ph.D. in Molecular Microbiology at Aston University, she worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Greece, and at the same time continued her postgraduate studies in Medicine.

Maria Braoudaki

Dr.Olivier Sluijters, MBBS BA (Hons)

Dr. Olivier Sluijters graduated from Cambridge and University College London in 2019, where he completed his undergraduate medical training, as well as an intercalated degree in Neurosciences. He has been working as a junior doctor in South West England and currently teaches Anatomy as a demonstrator at the University of Bristol. He has been involved with Curenetics since the company’s inception and worked closely with Sola on the project during medical school.



 

Fatema M Dawoodbhoy

Fatema M Dawoodbhoy is a final year medical student at Imperial College London. She graduated from Imperial College Business School with 1st class honors in Medical sciences with management. She has been part of the Curenetics team since May 2021 as a lead intern. Her keen interest in Medical Technology paved her way to Curenetics. She is an active part of the Curenetics research team focusing on advances in immuno-oncology.

Yi Zhao (Daniel)

Yi Zhao (Daniel) is chasing down his fourth year of Medicine at Imperial College London. His research interest mainly focuses on AI technologies in Medicine. Yi Zhao(Daniel) is a versatile and enthusiastic part of the Curenetics research team always willing to develop and learn through his experience.

Leila Motedayen Aval

Leila Motedeyen Aval is pursuing her final year of medicine at Imperial College London. She also graduated from Imperial with First Class Honours in Immunity and Infection. Her academic interests lie in the study of the immune system and its applications, notably in cancer, which paved her way into Curenetics. She aspires to become a clinician-scientist and pursue academic medicine. She is a dignitary member of the Curenetics research team working on cancer research and immuno-oncology.

Vaishnavi Balaji

Vaishnavi Balaji is working as a Data Scientist in Curenetics leading the Prediction Modelling for Acute Graph-versus-Host Disease (aGVHD) following Allogeneic Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT) project. She graduated from the University of Glasgow with a Master's in Data Science in 2022. Prior to that, she completed her Bachelor’s in Information Technology in India in 2020. Her research interest includes Deep Learning in the Medical and finance field. She firmly believes data-driven solutions would push medical advancements to their new state of the art.
